Allu Arjun arrest: Ravi Kishan questions Telangana government for their actions; Kangana Ranaut believes ‘everyone should have accountability’

Allu Arjun has left everyone in shock as he got arrested in Pushpa 2 stampede case. However, the actor is now out on interim bail but the arrest has shocked film fraternity. While his co-star Rashmika Mandanna and other actors like Varun Dhawan and Nani expressed disappointment, more actors have come out in his support.

Ravi Kishan on Allu Arjun’s arrest

Speaking on the incident, Ravi Kishan reacted, “Ek National Award-winning actor ke saath you’re behaving like this. This is a black day for the actor fraternity, for the film industry and for all his fans all over the world. Ek insaan tax-payer hai, itna bada business cinema ko diya aur ek bohot hi tehezeebdaar insaan (gentleman, well mannered)… uske saath koi personal revenge hai?”

Ravi Kishan said, “Yeh bohot hi bura din raha aur hurt hue hain hum kyuki main personally jaanta hoon ki… ek gentleman insaan ko, aap usko kapde pehenne nahi de rahe ho, usko ghar se kheech ke jaise koi terrorist hai… Uss chote bachche par jo dimaagi asar hua hoga apne papa ke liye, usko kaise mitayenge?” The actor also stated that the arrest was “personal” on the Telangana government’s part.

Kangana Ranaut on Allu Arjun’s case

Speaking at Agenda Aaj Tak, Bollywood superstar, and MP Kangana Ranaut said, “It is very unfortunate, I am a very big supporter of Allu Arjun ji. Having said that, you have to set an example. He has got the bail. But just because we are high-profile people, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have any consequences. People’s lives are very precious. Be it smoking ads or a crowded theatre, I think they (the Pushpa 2 team) were present at the event. Everybody should have accountability.”

For the unversed, a 35-year-old woman died and her 8-year-old son had to be hospitalised on the night of December 4 when a large number of fans thronged the Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun. The actor was taken into custody amid tight security from his residence. After the incident, Allu had announced Rs 25 lakh for the bereaved family and said he would meet them personally.
